NURI Telecom, Awarded 2008 10mil USD export form Korean government

At the 45th Korean Trade Day event held on December 2, 2008 NURI Telecom Co., Ltd. (CEO, Songman Cho) received a prize of 10 million USD export of its metering system, AiMiR.

Since global market entry with AiMiR system becomes full scale in 2005, its export has grown 10 times within the past three years from 0.9 million USD (1.1 bill won) in 2006 to estimated 12.5 million USD (15 billion won) in 2008.


The company has recorded the accumulated sales at 31.58 million USD (37.9 billion won) and the accumulated export sales at 12 million USD (14.3 billion won) from first to third quarter of 2008, achieving the greatest sales performance since its establishment.

It expects to attain its sales goal of 43.5 million USD (52.2 billion won) in total and 12.5 million USD (15 billion won) in AiMiR business which accounts for 30% of its total sales this year.


Based on the wireless mesh communication technologies, the company has been actively penetrating the global market and as the result, the AMI/AMM system implementation with AiMiR are in progress in several countries around the world including Sweden, Norway, Spain, Philippines, Paraguay, and Egypt etc.
