KEPCO is introducing various wireless communication methods such as LTE and Wi-SUN in underground areas and rural areas where it is difficult for two-way communication in the implementation of intelligent meter reading infrastructure for low pressure (home use), this year, Nuri Telecom secured new orders for low-voltage(residential) AMI wireless modems worth 21.6 billion won. Also, Nuri Telecom announced that it has entered into an annual contract with SK Telecom for the supply of low-voltage AMI LTE modems. The scale of the business is estimated at 12.8 billion won. |
