NURI Telecom, which focuses on the Green New Deal project, has been selected as the first Green New Deal home smart power platform operator this year by the government. The home smart power platform project is one of the government's Green New Deal projects.Out of the 400,000 units introduced in 2020, NURI Telecom was selected as a home smart power platform implementation company for 200,000 units in November 2020 and was selected again for an additional 200,000 units this year. As a result, NURI Telecom will implement a smart power infrastructure with PKI certificates to provide data collection, analysis and power information services by replacing old meters with new smart meters in 400,000 houses in the country.The smart power platform implementation project is aimed at spreading new businesses using power big data, and it is expected that consumers will be able to expand their options by choosing progressive or time-based plans according to their power usage patterns. Especially, △ Power peak mitigation due to power demand transfer △ Mitigate complaints about progressive fee △ Households who choose the rate system by time period reduce electricity rates according to the rate gap by time. △Real-time power consumption information by 15 minutes will be provided so that the consumers can expect to save electricity use. |
